There are so many good things to be said for website articles that remind us about the extended family and maybe best of all are grandparents who desire to be a real part of the lives of their children and grandchildren. Brothers and sisters are very unique because they find strength in one another, the kind of strength no one else in life can offer. Each personality is different and that can translate into learning behaviors to overcome life's challenges. Sure, there will be negative aspects of these behaviors, just like any other members of a society or culture. There needs to be willingness to help and care for one another without letting mistakes block out relationships.
I have personally witnessed the strength that my own children have to honestly and truthfully desire to help and care for each other. My oldest son transformed himself, with the help of 6 years in the Marine Corp Reserves. My middle son works very hard at developing himself and will stop at nothing to attain his goals. Together, they constantly transfer their abilities back and forth to grow into manhood. My younger daughter holds so much love and caring in her heart that she reminds us all to stop and listen to the good that life brings us.
Just like I stated earlier, give your children a chance and remind them that all good comes from God. Teach them the power of prayer and they will very seldom go wrong. Whether you are a parent or grandparent, instill confidence in them, so that when it comes time to leave this world you can rest in peace knowing that your presence in their lives has made a real difference!
