Memory Improving Techniques

There is little correlation between age and the need to learn and recall information that is termed memory.  All of us possess both short-term and long-term memory because we have developed tools and techniques to help us recall what we have done or learned in the past.  We develop our memory through a variety of methods, some visual while other by writing information down after reading a book or procedure.  Whatever method works best for you; there are a number of ways to improve your memory.  So, whether you are young or old, there are positive methods, or techniques, you should be aware of for improving your memory.

Beijing Olympics Illustrate Talent of America's Athletes

It doesn't make a difference whether a person is athletic or not, the sights and sounds of the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing China have been both entertaining and rewarding for the country as a whole.  China is a largely closed society of 1.3 billion people, or roughly 5 times the size of the U.S. population.  The world is coming to know more and more about the Chinese people and their society.  The Olympic games have further illustrated both strengths and weaknesses of these people.

The successes and failures of our athletes arouse our emotions, joys, and tears because we love to see our young men and women perform feats that we would not otherwise have the chance to view.  The events should fill our hearts with joy and pride for our American way of life.  When an athlete performs well enough to medal, and does not, we are reminded of the shortcomings of the International Olympic Committee because politics finds a way to rear it's ugly head into an arena where it does not belong!  International pressure should be placed upon this committee when the 29th games end, to say "enough is enough" where scandel and cheating is becoming accepted by those in authority to change it.

GO AMERICA!!!
