The Middle Class Cries Out for Relief

They are everywhere!  Families with 2 or more wage earners struggling to make ends meet in a deepening financial crisis that has taken dead aim upon America's middle economic class.  Chipping away every possible luxury or unnecessary expense within their control, people are trying desperately to make ends meet and finding themselves banging their heads against the wall!

We are talking about basic needs for survival here.  Medical insurance, transportation, food, and paying for energy and fuel needs that cannot be done without.  We are talking about mothers and fathers that must consider their children's needs before their own, leading to shelter (home), food, and clothing that is mandatory for survival.  Keeping a house, paying for insurance, transportation, food .... these are basic necessities for crying out loud!

We could see this coming years ago.  Wages that became stagnant and the loss of cost-of-living adjustments meant that people were beginning to loose the battle against higher costs and finding that buying on credit was increasingly burdensome upon family budgets.  There had to be a day of reckoning looming in the foreseeable future and that day has come!

It's important that we don't loose our cool and begin to make illogical judgements that result in drastic long term consequences.  Budgeting and determining priorities are steps to take that can be rewarding and good examples for parents to set for their children.  For tensions and stress levels to get out of hand are pathways to interpersonal problems and distancing family members from one another.

We have the capacity to think and become realistic about the responsibilities facing us.  Lets not forget those who are most loved so that they always continue to be our first priorities in life!

The Grieving Process

All of us discover that life is a series of joy for what makes us happy and grief that comes through the loss of love.  We invest a lot of precious time in discovering people and things that bring us joy, comfort, understanding, and knowing that there are reasons for needing.  We also invest precious time with coming to understand why the loss of a special someone or something leaves us incomplete.  In those incomplete times is when we must be strong and put the event into its proper perspective with respect to our own lives.

When you feel the sense of loss the website http://www.encouragingvoice.com offers articles that the reader finds addressing the grieving process and what to expect, as well as ideas to enrich your life.

It Takes ALL OF US to Change Life

Looking into the sky on a beautiful summer afternoon, I wonder to myself what will it take for America to be a beautiful home for all of us, again?

I am reminded of those who say that America has lost its way and "WE" must take charge!  The "WE" referred to are what I term "Splinter Groups" who proclaim themselves to be selected and set apart from the other "inferior people".  If "WE" don't take charge, so they say, all is lost because "the rest" don't fit into "our vision" of the "right world", or the "right society"!

Yes, America has become lazy and mis-guided in many respects.  I think that is a given that we would all agree with.  But, America HAS NOT LOST ITS WAY!  It doesn't appear to be the case, now does it?  All Americans are selected by God to be on this earth right now, at this point in time.

Finding solutions that restore pride and a sense of peace takes all Americans to accomplish!  Instead of finding idiots as our neighbors, or our elected officials, each one of us must take a deep look into our hearts to discover right v. wrong.  As much as we want, there is no middle ground between the two.

We are "ONE NATION UNDER GOD, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL"!  Every single member of our American society must take responsibility by the horns and root out all that is wrong ..... replacing wrong with right.  It doesn't take brainpower!  It takes WILL POWER!!!  Have you got what it takes?
