The summer season is bringing some of Hollywood’s best movies to DVD for everyone’s enjoyment, especially for those viewers that don’t frequent movie houses and are seeing these selections for the first time. There is a wide variety of movies to choose from, including comedy, romance, action, and horror films. The website offers articles that focus on each of the top movies and these articles give both a summary of the plot and actors/actresses, along with commentary on what the critics have said. Every American family is feeling some degree of pressure in today's world. Even if a family is economically secure, there are other events that change so fast and parents are asked by society to change quickly to keep pace.
Our children witness a good portion of the strains from life and feel the effects that change mommy and daddy. It is every parent's responsibility to have a discussion with their son and/or daughter, in a manner that is consistent with the child's age and maturity. Explaining as best we can to our children how and why our society (and ourselves) act like we do is very important.
After all, do we, as parents, really want someone else explaining these events to our children? Maybe the way to look at it would be that parents are simply giving their opinions and feelings about the important things ... the things that really count. Children want to hear their parents talk about issues, no matter what school age that they are. Children come away with more self-esteem and trust, knowing that mommy and daddy are thinking of them and are trying to explain how and why events take place.
It becomes so difficult for parents to find some precious time that they can spend with their sons and daughters ..... but, believe me when I say that it is the most important thing that parents can do for their children, starting at an early age! Talk with them. Put messages in words that they can understand. As them if they understand. Sometimes, just trying to do good things like this can improve their lives!
Parents ..... don't forget ...... listen to what it is that your children want to tell you! Both God and Jesus would want you to give them a chance to be a part of the family.

Americans seem to be less hospitable to one another in today’s society. Mostly due to our fast paced and mobile society, we seem to be more comfortable with a simple ‘hello’ comment to neighbors and co-workers. When we hear the term “southern hospitality” it brings about memories of Rhett Butler and Scarlet O’Hara in the movie Gone With The Wind, yet is there any truth to a southern society that still holds true to the principles of southern hospitality? People power is a state of mind ..... a chosen state of mind. Mothers and fathers ..... choose a life path filled with dedication and determination to raise your children to love Christ and God! Show them through example and discipline how to turn to Jesus for guidance and mercy! Children should be educated in the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. Help them whenever you can by reading to them, asking them to write letters to their friends, grandparents, brothers and sisters. Help them to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with accuracy. DON'T LAUGH! THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR CHILDREN'S SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE! These examples teach children to have power over their lives ..... People Power!
Discipline is of primary importance! Parents ..... love GOD, EACH OTHER, AND YOUR CHILDREN! Become determined to leave everything else below these in the order of importance.
I can guarentee each of you that a family that holds GOD and JESUS CHRIST in their hearts with undying love and devotion WILL NEVER FAIL! GOD will see to it that parents and their children will STAY TOGETHER and never let anything or anyone come between them!
